Chart 4

God said in Ezekiel 36:16-21 that he would place his people in exile because of their rebellion and hard hearts. But in Ezekiel 36:3-7 and 22, 24 He also said that He would bring them home again--not because they deserve it (they don't), but because He promised it. Failure to bring them home would make God to be a liar, something He cannon be. Ezekiel 37:7-8 and 11-13 provide an detailed and astonishing account of God bringing His people back to Israel.
  1. In Ezekiel 36:11 and 33-36 God foretells of great cities and towns being rebuilt and the land bring forth much fruit, just like has happened since Israel became a nation in 1948.
  2. And, in Ezekiel 37:9-10 and 15-22 God explains in detail how the bones form one nation again, after 1,876 years of exile.
  3. Finally, as explained in Chart 3, Jerusalem is taken back by Israel in the Six Day War of 1967, fulfilling the prophecy of Jesus in Luke 21:24.
  4. Some time in the not too distant future the world system will make a covenant (most likely a peace covenant) with Israel that will start the final seven years of history before the return of Christ.
