- Discerning the Times is a subsidiary of
Environmental
Perspectives, Inc. an educational-research organization that
since 1992 has been helping citizens across America to understand
the dangers of the Environmental Movement and how false
environmental catastrophes like global warming are being used to
justify the need for world government and religion. Dr. Coffman, the founder of Environmental
Perspectives, has written three books: Environmentalism, The Dawn of Aquarius or the
Twilight of a New Dark Age, Saviors of the Earth, the
Politics and Religion of the Environmental Movement, and the
most recent The Birth of World Government. Saviors of the
Earth has not only helped America understand the dangers of the
environmental movement, but has been instrumental in helping many
conservatives in Congress to understand ongoing global events. The
information in Saviors of the Earth even provided the basis
for stopping the ratification of the United Nations Convention on
Biological Diversity. God used Dr. Coffman and four other Board
members of Sovereignty
International in a genuine miracle in stopping this very
inhuman, pantheistically-based treaty, just hours before it was to
be ratified in the U.S. Senate.
In the later 1990s it became obvious to Dr. Michael
Coffman that there is a very
close parallel to biblical prophecy and current global events. At the
same time, the Christian Church was and still is totally ignorant of this parallel.
The website attempts to help all people, especially Christians, to
understand what is happening on the global and national scale that seems
to be working towards a world government and the fulfillment of the most
important prophecies of the Bible concerning the last days.
